What is a reserve price?

The reserve is the minimum price you are willing to accept. It is confidential. I help you set this on the morning of the auction based on real feedback from the auction campaign. What is “Vendor Bidding” and does Barfoot use it?

Can I accept an offer before the auction?

Yes. If a buyer submits a strong pre-auction offer, you can choose to accept it. What is the difference between an Auctioneer and a Real Estate Agent?

I am the Real Estate Agent (Salesperson). I run the 3-4 week marketing campaign, find the buyers, and get them to the room. Do I have to attend my own auction?

It is highly recommended. Being there allows you to make quick decisions (like adjusting the reserve) based on the live energy in the room. Can first home buyers buy at auction?

Yes, but they must be unconditional. This means they need their finance 100% approved and due diligence (building reports, legal check) done before auction day. What deposit does the buyer pay?

Why is an unconditional sale better for sellers?
